Exotic Bet Types

Quinella
A Quinella is a bet type where you have to pick the horses to finish 1st and 2nd in any order.

Exacta
An Exacta is a bet type where you have to pick the horses to finish 1st and 2nd in the correct order. If they run 1st and 2nd, but not in the order you picked, the Exacta bet will not be successful.

Trifecta
A Trifecta is a bet type where the customer selects horses to finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the correct order.

A boxed Trifecta is similar to a Quinella, in that the horses selected can finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any order.

First Four
A First four is a bet type where the customer must select runners to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in correct order.

Multiples

Quadrella (popularly known as a "Quaddie")
A Quaddie is a bet type where the customer must select the winner of each of the four nominated Quaddie races at a particular track. The bettor can select any number of possible winners in each leg.

Multi bet
A multi bet combines a series of single bets into one wager, where the odds multiply with each additional leg of the bet.
